Reduce Driver Stress
Find the right route every time with the XXL, including the latest maps, and easy and clear instructions on how to get started.
Advanced Lane Guidance
Drivers often feel stressed at unfamiliar junctions when there are a lot of lanes to choose from. Advanced lane guidance provides extra clarity to drivers in these circumstances, so they won't miss a turn or have to make a last-minute lane crossing. It works by giving them a still 3D image on the screen that clearly indicates the lane they need to take. So even at the most complex junctions and in the heaviest traffic, drivers can stay relaxed and in control.
Latest Map Guarantee
Sometimes, TomTom releases a new map between the time a device is manufactured and the time someone buys it. So we allow every TomTom customer to check for a new map release within 30 days of first using their device. If one is available, customers simply use the voucher that is included inside the box to download it for free. This is all done via HOME, TomTom's free desktop application, which will automatically recognise a newly connected device and check whether a newer map release is available for it.
Map Share™ Technology
Our research reveals that roads change by as much as 15% every year. That's why we draw upon the largest satellite navigation community in the world – ours. Through our unique Map Share™ technology, drivers can make corrections to their map and benefit from thousands of corrections made by over 40 million TomTom users every day – free of charge.
Over 5 million Map Share™ corrections have been made worldwide to date. Through Map Share™, a driver can: block and unblock a street, reverse traffic direction, edit a street name, change turn restrictions, change road speed, add a missing Point of Interest (POI), edit a POI, and report another error.
